Professional Activities and Interests
Byung Cho Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Information Technology, Pamplin College of Business, at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He received the Ph.D. and M.S. in Industrial Administration with a major in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University, M.S. in Statistics from the University of Chicago, and B.S. in Mathematics from Sogang University. His primary research interests include economics of information security, open source software market and business value of information technology.
